Sumarul volumului 9/2002 al revistei European Meetings in Ethnomusicology editata de Marin-Marian Balasa propune cititorilor doua substantiale sectiuni: Transylvania: Music, Ethnicities, Discord si „Poland: Music, Lyrics, Nation“ in cadrul carora muzicieni din Romania si din strainatate semneaza interesante si avizate eseuri si studii culturale de etnomuzicologie comparata.
